What people are saying about Konavle Valley
An almost brand new luxurious Mercedes minibus, fully air conditioned and very comfortable. Technical problem with the sliding door which was nobody's fault other than Mercedes! - a typical teething problem with any new car which did mean we were collected a little bit later than scheduled but the back office kept us informed via mobile so we were not worried. The smaller vehicle allowed a more rapid border crossing into Montenegro from Croatia. Whilst Montenegro's currency is Euro it is not yet in EU. We were lucky as Kotor did not have any cruise ships in the day we went and also it was a Sunday so there were less locals around. We also went out on a ferry to the Lady of the Rocks Church at Persat on our way back, which was well worth the visit. All in all, a great trip, great value, with a great guide/driver. He looked out for us constantly and was very informative, with very good English. Would highly recommend if you have a reasonably long stay over in Dubrovnik.
Gabrielle was the best tour guide ever! He was so friendly and funny and he knew a lot about Montenegro, Kotor and Paresta, very knowledgable and approachable to ask questions. Had so much fun and experience visiting the City walls of Kotor, and visit to the Island our lady of the rocks with a beautiful church there. Very quick boat ride to there and fully guided tour around that area.
Daniel did a great job of providing us historical background of the area as we drove to Kotor. Our local guide (Javon?) took over and told us about the history and customs of her hometown as she walked us through the old town area, she was great! Although a small country in size and population, Montenegro is beautiful and a unique experience compared to Croatia.
Amazing tour!! Everything was on schedule with ample amount of time in each location. Great group with small amount of people and an enjoyable day. The tour guide (Amila) was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and the driver (Ivan) was incredibly friendly also!
Our tour guide Annette was wonderful and lovely. I’m giving the tour 4 stars because I thought there would be more to see, the timing of the tour is great, but it’s the border crossing that makes the tour sooo long.
