Note that although this is not a hiking tour, the coffee is planted on a slope and persons should be moderately fit in order to walk on the farm. Children 7 and under will need strict supervision, and in fact, depending on the personality of your child, this may not be the best tour for him/her. Carry insect repellant and sunscreen, and wear sneakers and comfortable clothing.

Although it is a short trip (still took us 4 1/2 hrs) it is a great chance to see a bit of the blue mountains. If you are lacking time, this should be the choice. The tour on the farm started with a general introduction, a tasting and then to a walk through the field. You also get the chance to purchase coffee there ... not any blend, 100% blue mountain coffee for a reasonable price. Karen, my tour guide, was fantastic. She is very intelligent person which knows a lot about the natural environment and the history of Jamaica. She picked me up from the hostel on time and in my opinion an important aspect - she drives good and safely. I liked the conversation with her and enjoyed the time.
