Full description
This tour is a must for any guest in Killarney. Experience the most beautiful part of Ireland in the most memorable way. The ideal way to see Killarney National Parklands and the famous Lakes of Killarney is on a jaunting car, combined with a lake cruise.

Your tour will start on-board a traditional jaunting car, where you will ramble through the Killarney National Park & Ross Castle with the local jarvey. This spectacular tour will inform you of the history, legends and folklore of the area, and if you are lucky enough, you might just bump into the odd 1 or 2 leprechauns. There, you now have a wonderful story to share with people back home. Don’t forget to take an autograph. You will be then be taken through Killarney’s deer park, where you can see the amazing Irish red deer and Sika deer graze before arriving at the wonderfully restored 15th century Ross Castle.

Upon your arrival at the doorstep of Ross Castle, you will then take a cruise on Killarney’s largest and most picturesque lake, Lough Léin in the comfort and safety of a covered heated and modern vessel. Drift through the islands on-board “The Lily of Killarney” cruiser and relax in the beauty and splendor that will surround you. With live on-board commentary from your captain, you will hear of the many heritage attractions including O’Sullivan’s Cascade and the monastic ruins of Innisfallen Island, Bricin Bridge and the copper mines. We had the most amazing trip!!! The weather was definitely in our favor. The cruise was lovely and calm and the sights fantastic. We were lucky enough to see an actual eagle!! The skipper was a very funny chap and had great stories. The jaunting car was great fun and a brilliant way to see the sights. I had booked for the wrong day by mistake but a wonderful woman called Laura organized for us to change days, no hassle. She was a legend. Cheers Laura
