What people are saying about Kailua-Kona

Great transportation; enjoyed the short walk thro the lava tube at Kona coffee, other than that the stop was so so; the stop at the heritage village of the early ancestors was really informative and gave us a look at how they lived back then and their customs& beliefs; a side stop at the donut shop was very good, not only the donuts , but the variety of food for lunch; then off to the black sand beach, which was awesome with many green turtles up on the beach; Volcano National park was awesome and we could have spent many hours there. Then to Hilo and Rainbow Falls

The crew went out of their way to make sure that we saw a whale- we saw three! They were very knowledgeable and I felt confident in their abilities. I took many photos and had a lovely time. My only concern was that there were no bathrooms that we useable at the dock and the one on the boat was not working.

We had our two grandchildren with us (ages 5 and 11). They just loved it. The manta rays swam so close to us, we were all amazed. The staff were great and kept an eye on our little one, helping her back to the boat when she was tired. Fantastic experience. The snacks helped too.

This was excellent, everyone was very nice and helpful. Cory was easy to understand and made sure everyone was comfortable before the went in the water. We will be doing this again and hopefully with Cory!

The tour was great, we didn’t realize the pick up and transportation would take 4 of the 8 hours of the tour. No way around it really because of the distances that needed to be travelled.
