interesting day; a reasonable 'taste'.

a supporting map to assist spacial awareness would be helpful- at times it seemed we were crisss-crossing the desert; also some historical factual notes to assist (altho I did some apres trip desk research to supplement)...the guide in this instance could have been more dispassionate so not to infuse with his own bias which was quite evident. overall despite a confused presentation of the political, historical, and geographical it was worthwhile, but with specific focus these tours could be more meaningful..

Open-eyed tour!

Kamal, our fantastic guide, gave us an extraordinarily interesting journey about the history, religion and politics of the West Bank. In addition, he allowed us to know a little of his life and his family with a delicious lunch at his home. I value his equanimous view and encyclopedic knowledge shared with kindness and interest. Thank you very much!

All of the places were amazing. The problem with this tour is that we had a rainy day and everything was crammed within 15 minutes. The guide told us we may not visit the Church of the Nativity if he deems the line to be too long. We never saw the milk grotto and we stayed 15-20 minutes tops in most of the places. Too much queing for a few-minutes experience. Presenting the oldest city in the world and its 23 civilizational layers with trash scattered everywhere was just sad. The food was delicious though the portions were not enough for a table of five, the guide seemed clueles about vegetarian options as well and the travelers had to hope for the best. He seemed like he just wanted it to be over ASAP so he can go home. Lots of trivia info whilst a lot of important history was left out. The real struggles of the Palestinian people at times seemed trivial as the guide sounded very repetitive. The sights were magnificent but the tour itself was a mess. On the verge of a scam.
