What people are saying about Jerez de la Frontera

Great impression with the training and possibility to see the stables

Although we had the online tickets we had to stand in the queue at the ticket counter again for paper tickets. It was very nice to see the training but we were not allowed to take pictures inside the arena. There were tours in different languages through the stables, where one can not go in alone. The museum was also very nice and a little bit further away is the carriage museum. All in all a lot you can see for your money and we spent almost 4 hours there. Definitely worth a visit if you like horses!

The rain did not dampen the splendid displays inside.

Excellent displays by horses and handlers, well worth the visit and it is not expensive. We were allocated front row seats in a very good position, and we could not fault the information and advice given by our guides. Inability to take photos is understandable but no-flash phone cameras these days should not be a problem. The selection of picture cards available were poor and not a good reflection of reality there.

The best way to visit any town is to take a guided walk

We had been with our guide Inma earlier in the day as as we were thee only people on the walk she changed the the time to fit in with our needs and took us on an interesting walk around the city. She showed us many palaces and local architecture and explained it all in detail. Also showed us a very good cake shop which we walked back to at the end of the tour.

Sherry for breakfast and then stunning display of horsemanship

Petra was the funniest tourguide but she backed it up with incredible local and background knowledge. Be warned though the photography police at the Andalusian Horse Show use their mobiles from the other side of the gallery to alert their counterparts on your side that you might be sneaking a cheeky snap
