What people are saying about Jerash
The 3 day trip to Jordan included a city tour to Jerash and Amman, visit to Petra and jeep safari in Wadi Rum. We stayed in Bedouin camps which gave us an authentic experience to the Bedouin lifestyle and a special mention to the tea that they served. Although, it was too cold (3 degree celsius) we were provided with 4 blankets which was sufficient to protect us from the cold. We were a group of 40 people but everything was on time. I am a vegetarian, and had no difficulty finding vegetarian dishes and the buffet menu had more vegetarian dishes than non-vegetarian. Our guide Mahdi provided us details to the social and cultural aspects of Jordan, he was even open to political and economical questions. As far as the border crossing is concerned it should not be a problem unless you are carrying your passport and money for the entrance and exit to Jordan. The time provided at each stop was sufficient and we were not hurried from anywhere.
Thank you Abraham Tours for our Jordan 3 day trip. We have loved the experience and certainly Petra exceeded our expectations. What an amazing place! Pictures do not do it justice. Wadi Rum is just spectacular and we are now left with memories that will be cherished forever. Our tour guide, Abdullah was friendly and very knowledgeable. Food was great and coach very comfortable. Bedouin camp standards are basic and if you are not a frequent camper you might struggle with basic facilities. There was no heaters provided in tents and during winter season this should be a standard in each tent. No hot water in the morning... No hooks or shelves to put your things on when taking a shower resulted in personal belongings getting wet. Nevertheless, Jordan is an amazing country and I would highly recommend taking this tour but pay for a hotel upgrade if you do mind basic camping standard.
We had the most amazing experience with Jordan Private Tours and its all thanks to our tour guide Mohammed Abuhamdh . If you looking for a tour that is flexible and personal and not commerially orientated I strongly recommend this tour with this guide. He went above and beyond to make our tour a personal and memorable experience . The city of Jerash is a must see. Absolute treasure to still see parts of the city remaining. Its hard to believe you have history right infront of your eyes. Thereafter we had a delicious traditional lunch thanks to Mohammed. What an experience. The food the flavour the company. Highlight of the day was Dead Sea. Here again Mohammed had his personal touch. Ensuring we had a private experience by entering private beach at a small fee to ensure the waters
Abdulla the tour guide, did a great job leading us on our 3 day adventure to Petra. He was attentive, informative and funny. Day 1 and 3 are very long days of travel and border crossings. There could be a little more information about what to expect on the other side, once you cross the border. We waited for 45 minutes before anyone showed up to continue the trip with little information about how long we would wait. Other than that, everything was great!
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide, Rania, was very knowledgeable about every site we saw, and our driver, Mustafa, was friendly and efficient. The Bedouin camp was amazing, and the lunches we stopped for were also excellent. The only thing I would note is that you need to have 107 NIS for the Israeli exit fee and at least 60 Jordanian dinars (or US equivalent)—there is no ATM at the border as some people on our tour were told.
