Full description
Take a full-day trip to explore the ancient Mayan cities of Coba and Tulum accompanied by a guide specialized in Mayan archaeology. Your first destination on this trip will be the highest pyramid in the Riviera Maya, Nohoch Mul (which means “great mound”). Arrive by bicycle to the pyramid and then climb the 40 meters of stairs to reach the top. You’ll be rewarded with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views of the area.

Then, head into the trees and walk under the shade of the treetops, wrapped in the sounds and colors of the jungle. After this walk, you’ll be ready for lunch, so the next stop will be a buffet of food typical of the region. After recharging your energy, you’ll continue your adventure by heading to the cenote Choo-Há. This sacred cenote is perfect for diving lovers, and is great for snorkeling.

To conclude your Mayan journey, you’ll visit the Painted Temple of Tulum to admire its natural architectural beauty. Admire the paintings and the quality of the mural that represents the life of the Mayans and their deities. You’ll also see the emblematic building known as El Castillo, used mainly for religious rituals. Finally, take in the gorgeous view of the turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean.
