The highlight of my trip to Marrakech - Thank You Rachid & Hassan

I’m not a great fan of organised trips but this was the highlight of my holiday in Marrakech. It was a beautiful insight into life In The foothills of the Atlas Mountains interesting and energetic in equal measure. The main reason for this being the highlight was my two guides Hassan & Rachid. Hassan was prompt for pick up and helpful with details of what was going to happen especially as the the two other guests were French so he had to say everything twice. This never seemed to be a problem. A 5guide. Rachid was a joy and gave an amazing insight into his life within this community. He did this with humour and a simple honesty that made you feel almost a part of it! Every questions and fact was answered as if it was the first time he’d answered it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re lucky enough to have him as you’re guide you’re in for a wonderful experience, All food was amazing&included and you never felt like you were being herded into a selling opportunity THANK YOU RACHID & HASSAN

A great escape from the hustle and bustle of the souks.

We really enjoyed our day out in the Atlas Mountains with Rachid, our guide. It was a great opportunity to see beyond the walls of the Medina and the souks! The journey up into the mountains was really interesting, with a stop at a women's cooperative to see how argan oil is made before walking between berber villages in the mountains. The lunch stop was very welcome - all 3 courses - which included a tasty chicken tajine. The cherry blossom was in full bloom, there was snow on the mountains, the people we met were charming. The day was rounded off by a half hour camel ride through a wooded valley. I would highly recommend this trip as the countryside is beautiful and it is such a contrast to the bustle of Marrakesh.

Great diversified and authentic Day Trip

We had a great day trip with Brahim. He showed us the morrocan countryside and culture with very much fun and kind awareness. We were picked up at our Riad and our first stop was at a view point at the beginning of the Atlas Mountains. Our group (6 people) was shown an argan oil production site and afterwards the camel ride in authentic moroccan clothing was the first highlight. The hike around the mountain villages and waterfall was very impressive and the guide gave many interesting information about the culture and living. The final highlight was the delicious lunch at the last village. This was really a very great experience and I can fully recommend.

Very nice excursion for Berber villages and mountain hike

This excursion was lovely. Our driver Abdul was very friendly. We visited an Argan oil production site and a local market with him and that was great to see. The camel ride of 30 minutes was a bit too long though in our opinion. 10 minutes would have been enough. The hike was really nice, but beware that your condition must be okay to do it: Sometimes it were steep climbs and it was a 2 hour walk in total. The lunch in the local village was amazing with a wonderful view on the Atlas mountains. Would definitely recommend.

A trip that exceeded all our expectations

Amazing trip, unusual in that it exceeded our expectations, the climbing was just challenging enough, most of the route was on level ground, our guide Rachid, who gets married on Saturday, was superb, as was our driver Hassan. A delicious lunch of lentils, salad and chicken tagine awaited us in a picturesque berber village, the views were spectacular and we all said one of the best days we had had for a long time, could not recommend more highly
