Full description
This tour is a good choice for guests with limited time, in just half day taking a short ride to the most important landmarks of the area. The tour starts in Iasi, Moldavia’s largest town, the main educational center, known as the city of the great ideas or the city of the seven hills like Rome or Lisbon.

First stop will be at Agapia Monastery, a famous nouns monastery. Take a tour of area and visit the carpet workshop which is still a major activity of the complex in order to sustain themselves. The next stop will be at Neamt Fortress, part of the former Moldavian defense system. The citadel was the major guardian on Moldova and Siret valleys but also on the gateway to Transylvania, becoming one of the major Fortress of Moldova. The building was declared a historical monument in 1866 and is a major landmark for a visit in the North East Romania.
