Enjoyable trip. Great scenery and a humpback!

Enjoyed our trip. The views are amazing even before you see the whale(s). We saw one humpback and it took half the trip to find that, as the previous day's sailings were cancelled so they were harder to track down. Yes it's bumpy and yes some people will be sick. Our main guide was very helpful, giving further info and advice on road conditions and how to travel safely. Captain was a little rude, pushing past me on his way up to his post but I wasn't going to get on his wrong side! Overall a good company, nice boats and yes I do much prefer the natural boats to the ribs. Cold enough on this type of boat (there's no indoors!) never mind about whizzing around on a rib! Wrap up warm and take the overalls they give you. You'll need them. Great to see these creatures in their natural habitat and with a responsible, environmentally-aware company.

Good effort to find whales

we were told that the 4:30 activity was cancelled due to weather conditions, but that we can be accommodated in the 6:00 pm activity, as it was going to happen 90%, but we were asked to come back at 5pm to confirm if the sea conditions are good enough for the activity. Also they offer us full refund or schedule it for next day. the 4:30 or 6:00 activities were the only ones we could do due to our schedule, so I accepted to be rescheduled for the 6:00 one. But that gave us bout 2 hours to roam around in Husavik, which is not bad, but I would have prefer to know in advance to make my day schedule accordingly. I understand that it's not easy to notify if the activity is going to happen or not, but I think they should come with a way to at least send an email/sms as soon as this happens, or at least advice that the activity might be compromised due to weather conditions when the hour approaches. we weren't told that in rough conditions the whale watching is harder than in quiet waters, I
