What people are saying about Hurghada
We had a really great tour. We were picked up in Safaga at 1 am and arrived in Cairo at around 10.00 am. It was a long travel but everything was smooth running and on schedule. Then we met our English guide outside the museum . She was great. Forgot her name though but we are group “Horus” (July 4,2019). She gave us a lot of information (historical facts) during the museum tour. Then afterwards we went to a tour in the Nile river for about 30-45 mins (paid 10 euros extra) but it was worth it. Then we had lunch in Giza overlooking the pyramids. Afterwards, pyramids tour. We went camel riding (10 euros pp) but with an official camel guy. It was an unforgettable experience...plus the camel guy took great photos and videos of us. Afterwards, we went inside the pyramid! Yes bucket list checked! Then lastly we went to the perfumerie and we got good deals with oils. It was legit! Then we head back to Safaga...
This trip has a really great itinerary, 25km of self driving the quads to and back from a small ‘village’ to get a drink (pay for yourself) and ride a camel. Staff are quite rude, urging you to pay for the scarf and goggles for the quads which are €3 and €2 respectively. I would recommend using this or alternatively bring your own scarf and some ‘sports style’ sunglasses. We were also urged three times to tip our guide drivers which actually didn’t interact with us during the trip. Good value for money but don’t expect 5* customer service.
Pro: We enjoyed the places we visited together with our 2 kids of 4 and 6 years old. I recommend going for this trip as you can see and learn more of Egypt and its rich history. Our Spanish speaking guide was very polite and recommended. Con: the bustrip is very long (5 hours times 2). Further, i would take an all inclusive trip with water / drinks included for the whole day to save yourself from the constant negotiations at the bus- and cultural stops.
We had a little misunderstanding about the pick up time, so try to make sure what time the will pick you up from your Hotel! Aside from that, the tour was really good, we found Dolphins really fast and jumped into the water to swim and play with them. The boat is really nice and the crew was fantastic as well as lunch on board! I totally recommend it!
I rode out on Suzanna yesterday and absolutely loved it. I got picked up from my hotel, driven to the stables, rode for two hours and even rode along the beach and driven back. Was simple to book and overall a fantastic way to start my birthday. Many thanks to you all. I will be back next week
