What people are saying about Howth

The bus tour became 'A legendary one man show!'

Our first driver did not use the recorded guide. He did it live! He did it with style! He did it with PASSION! He made the journey through the streets of Dublin secondary to his amazing, interesting and factual repartee. His amusing asides were second to none...e.g., a fire tender was coming up behind, siren sounding. 'Oh no, there is a fire tender coming up behind' he said, 'This is bad. I think the might have spotted me...My first wife ran off wife a fireman...Well, I'm not stopping. They might want to give her back!'...BRILLIANT!! Alas for us, he came to the end of his shift and the next driver was just that...a driver. Sure he was safe. He was courteous. But he was just...well 'workman like'

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!! A must see and do, I definitely recommend!

Our tour guide Eoin was an absolute pleasure, from the very beginning to the absolute end he was knowledge about absolutely EVERYTHING and hilarious! I learned more about Ireland from him in this daytrip than in all the muesums and places I visited! It was spectacular! I was literally writing down facts as fast as I could while he kept saying more in between great humor, being knowledge about everything you pass from the meet up point to the sites, he was so helpful to get everyone the pictures they were wanting too!

Fascinating History; Beautiful Countryside

The tour was excellent. The history in these two areas was fascinating. It was very TIGHT quarters in the Tomb at New Grange (they warned us), but well worth seeing. I could have spent all day at the Hill of Tara. The tour was fabulous and I enjoyed the unexpected stop at Howth (beautiful seaside village).

A great introduction to Dublin before we explored the city

Our driver for the first part of our trip was Andrew. We was funny, informative, helpful and entertaining. The final leg of the tour was done when it was dark and the town was glowing with Christmas lights. Very pretty to see, but for sightseeing the earlier you start the day the better.

10/10: Fishing town (with a castle), Newgrange and Tara

I travelled on June 19th. I can’t remember the name of the driver and the tour guide. Sorry. They were both super friendly. You could see the tour guide is passion about his job. I would definitely recommend it! We were very lucky with the weather too :)
