Marco was an excellent tour guide and was very passionate about everything involving Chichen Itza, Mayan culture, and the history surrounding the grounds. It wasn't the easiest waking up early to catch the 5AM bus, but it was all worth it in the end. We were the first tour bus that arrived and the weather was perfect for walking around. Marco was also very considerate of bathroom breaks during the commute to and from Chichen Itza. We went to a nearby town after to have a toast with the Mayan people, buy souvenirs, and pick up our lunches. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone interested learning all about Chichen Itza, Mayan culture, all the while feeling safe and well accommodated!

We had Marco as guide and Antonio as driver both were excellent. Marco let us sleep for an hour before providing dialogue on the bus prior to our arrival. Well worth getting there before the masses arrived later in the day. Marco spent 3 hrs with us basically around the main temple and the ball stadium - no time to do anything more. We had 1 hour of free time which was not very much - I would pass on a visit to the cenote - no architectural significance. I would suggest dropping the visit to the little strip mall of stores and having another hour or two at the main site - so much to see. The bus arrived on time and everything went like clock work.

we just had our tour with Frank and Charlie the driver. it was an amazing experience, very knowledgeable. I would suggest the morning tour rather than the normal one if you want to see the ruins before other thousands of people arrive. waking up before 4 am is painful but definitely worth it. Frank was happy to answer all our questions and after the tour finished we had one hour to roam around before going to a small village where you can buy souvenirs and get the lunch. Really recommend them!

We got picked up right on time and had a blast at Chichen Itza. Really loved the site and the explanations by Frank were great. He is a very knowledgable guide and also quite funny. All was great except for the airco in the bus back because it would not cool and the visit to the Mayan store felt a bit like a tourist trap. Aside from this we had a great tour and day.

Beautiful day, with an excellent guide. Marco gave us a lot of information and was able to keep the whole day very interactive. Bus is very comfortable, so easy to take a nap on the way there. Definitely recommend a tour with a guide, as there are no information signs within the Chichen Itza area
