What people are saying about Hoi An

I had such a lovely tour with Minh as my guide, she was knowledgable, friendly and funny. The tour itself was so diverse, first we visited an organic vegetable garden, when I say garden, it was massive and meticulously laid out with many plots for us to walk around and play guess the herb. Here we also enjoyed a lovely refreshing drink at Minty Garden. From here we rode on to a ceramic village where I was able to throw clay on a wheel to make a cup (you don't keep it as it has to dry) but they gift you a ceramic whistle of the animal correlating with your birth year. Then onto a wood carving and boat building village followed by a 2 hour lantern making class which for me was the highlight. You make a lantern from scratch!! Lin from the Lantern making workshop was very helpful. Finally it is lunch at 12.45 where you eat at a local restaurant with local people, Minh took me for chicken rice as I had not yet tried this Hoi An dish. Minh was a safe rider and an expert guide.

This was a very nice cooking class. We really liked that we bought all of the ingredients together at the local market. Then we took the bicycle to a local farm where we could see how they cultivate different herbs. Now we finally know how Asian basil smells and tastes like. We were always wondering what this is in the summer rolls we don’t know. :) The cooking lesson itself was really good. Our chef was strict with us but we appreciated it. Sometimes we felt like we were a little bit in a hurry. The chef could slow down just a little bit. Lunch was amazing- a cute little table by the river. Very idyllic. A big plus was the massage - just a very good idea to make time pass by more quickly while the chef prepared everything for the cooking class.

Great experience! Tour offered ao dai selection then a photo tour of Hoi An. Photographer and guides were easy to work with and know what to do which make the process smoothly. We got the pictures the day after and it turned out beautiful!!

This was brilliant! I got to make a lantern and have a go at pottery and wood-carving. My guide Wendy was fantastic, I felt very safe on the back of the scooter and she was lovely to talk to.

Had a fantastic day riding around the city, visiting the farm and most of all the lantern making class! Highly recommend and great guide!
