What people are saying about Hobart
I think whoever wants to visit Tasmania for a short period of time and want to make the best out of it, I recommend this tour. Tasmania is indeed very beautiful and the tour was well planned. Sometimes we would have to rush while walking and couldn’t spend enough time in some places but I guess otherwise we wouldn’t be able to see as many... Hostels that we have stayed varied in quality. I personally liked the one in Strahan the most and the good thing is that we stayed there two nights. I wish the tour guide in the beginning of the tour let us introduce ourselves like we did in Melbourne “go west-great ocean road tour”. Even on the fifth day we wouldn’t know each others names whereas in a day tour that I spend in Melbourne everybody had an idea who is who. I just recommend that to the tour company. All and all, I do recommend this tour especially if you are traveling alone or make the most out of Tasmania in restricted amount of time.
Amazing experience. Lots of rock formations, caves and a blowhole to see. Not for the faint hearted though, as the boat was flying through the air and crashing onto the water over the waves on the wild Southern Ocean side, but very safe due to an experienced skipper and worth it to see the very cute seals sunbathing on the rocks on that side. They gave us some seasickness tablets to help. Lovely morning tea, lunch and snacks. The transfer from Hobart CBD was definitely worth adding.
A brilliant trip. Short drive, ferry trip, short drive and stop, coffee, boat trip, lunch, short drive, ferry, short drive. Engaging guide Grant, who kept us amused and informed as we passed sights of interest. The chance to see both common and bottle nose dolphins.
What a day, freezing obviously but we were looked after so well from the minute we arrived to our drop off. Staff were excellent, food was great and the cruise and tour brilliant. I cannot recommend this cruise and day out highly enough
A really good day, thanks to Ben and Jamie. We were looked after exceptionally well - both guys have a great sense of humour! The trip around Bruny Is was spectacular despite some not so friendly weather. Regards David
