What people are saying about Hobart

I think whoever wants to visit Tasmania for a short period of time and want to make the best out of it, I recommend this tour. Tasmania is indeed very beautiful and the tour was well planned. Sometimes we would have to rush while walking and couldn’t spend enough time in some places but I guess otherwise we wouldn’t be able to see as many... Hostels that we have stayed varied in quality. I personally liked the one in Strahan the most and the good thing is that we stayed there two nights. I wish the tour guide in the beginning of the tour let us introduce ourselves like we did in Melbourne “go west-great ocean road tour”. Even on the fifth day we wouldn’t know each others names whereas in a day tour that I spend in Melbourne everybody had an idea who is who. I just recommend that to the tour company. All and all, I do recommend this tour especially if you are traveling alone or make the most out of Tasmania in restricted amount of time.

We only had a day in Tasmania and couldn’t be happier to have taken this day trip. We visited big tree country, taking a short hike through the trees with wildlife (pademelons, birds, a platypus) and waterfalls. We hand fed kangaroos, took pictures with a koala and a wombat, and watched a Tassie devil feeding at Bonorong. Bonorong is amazing! Lunch was at the quaint town of Richmond which had gin/whiskey tastings, a candy shop, scallop pie, and a beautiful park near the water with the oldest active bridge in Australia. The day ended on Mt Wellington with a gorgeous view of Hobart and Tassie. We loved learning so much about Tassie while experiencing it. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

We had a great day with Jarrod as our guide. He knows so much about the history, geography, wildlife, farming practices and people of Tasmania. He is thoughtful; for example, ensuring that we were able to walk down to the falls instead of climbing up. He helped us discover great Tasmanian scallop pie! We highly recommend this tour!

A brilliant trip. Short drive, ferry trip, short drive and stop, coffee, boat trip, lunch, short drive, ferry, short drive. Engaging guide Grant, who kept us amused and informed as we passed sights of interest. The chance to see both common and bottle nose dolphins.

Day with wombats at Maria Island We had a fabulous day at Maria Island. Daniel and Brenton, our guides, are very knowledge and make the day goes easy. We saw lots of kangaroos and wombats. Lunch was fresh and healthy... we finished the day having wine by the beach.
