What people are saying about Hobart

I think whoever wants to visit Tasmania for a short period of time and want to make the best out of it, I recommend this tour. Tasmania is indeed very beautiful and the tour was well planned. Sometimes we would have to rush while walking and couldn’t spend enough time in some places but I guess otherwise we wouldn’t be able to see as many... Hostels that we have stayed varied in quality. I personally liked the one in Strahan the most and the good thing is that we stayed there two nights. I wish the tour guide in the beginning of the tour let us introduce ourselves like we did in Melbourne “go west-great ocean road tour”. Even on the fifth day we wouldn’t know each others names whereas in a day tour that I spend in Melbourne everybody had an idea who is who. I just recommend that to the tour company. All and all, I do recommend this tour especially if you are traveling alone or make the most out of Tasmania in restricted amount of time.

I am a local here and joined with a group of visiting family members for the convenience of tour guidance. It was the best day. Will recommend highly to anyone who is visiting the state, to try these guided tours.. hassle free . Extra bonus is the social interactions with similar minded other tourist families . Supportive small group experience! I was extremely happy to have manage the climb to wineglass bay lookout! Wouldn’t have done this if not for the encouragement and careful attention given by the guide. Alex was great with all members young & old!

We were not able to get a pick up confirmation about time or location, (calls not answered emails not replied too) fortunately the hotel staff knew about the tour and told us they did indeed pick up at our hotel. So we only had to wait for about 30 minutes. Other than that it was great. The ride was broken down with several stops for snacks and restroom breaks. The walk to the overlook isn’t terrible, but it isn’t a leisurely stroll either, so bring water and wear sneakers.

Something 4 everyone - choices Day 2: Henty Dunes/ Montezuma Falls hike or ($90) Strahan lake cruise Day3 challenging/easy hikes at Cradle Mtn Day 4 difficult/ moderate hike Cole Bay / Mt. Amos. ($40) night penguin guided viewing was great watching them come to shore. We upgraded to private double (expensive). Hostels were good. Breakfast good.

Fabulous I would definetly recommend this tour from Hobart to Wine glass bay. Our guide Alex was so informative and really went over and above what was outlined in the itinery so we got to experience so much of freycinet national park.
