What people are saying about Ho Chi Minh City

Greatly satisfying package of various lunch courses

These two local guys, ‘How’ & ‘Lei’ ( I might be mistaken with second guide’s name) set a high bar for our first of five different company foodie tours in Vietnam. No accent difficulty with either guide. The motorbikes are everywhere in Vietnam, if you are not fun, then the motorbikes will make you too worried more often than not. Their lunch tour’s Vietnamese coffee selection for our tour is our premier beverage of the entire trip throughout Vietnam. They also shared two other phenomenal dessert dishes. The sticky banana leaf rice and the coconut ice cream shell with other fruits surrounding the scoop. We also had a Banh Xeo, a savory crepe. Such a great first tour and very educational with a trip to District 3 and the oldest apartment complex in Saigon (HCMC). They also were kind enough to drop us off at another tour location in the old quarter but not at our original hotel pickup. Our request of course, which they happily granted.

So different to any other food tour I've done before.

We were a group of 5 friends who had the most wonderful experience on this food tour. Our guides turned up on time, and from the get-go were friendly, engaging and full of information. My guide Casey, couldn't do enough to make me comfortable with my surroundings, and I know all the other guides followed suit. They manoevered us through the city traffic on our vespas like experts, and took us to the most marvellous, out of the way places that most tourists would never get to see. The food ranged from fresh salad Vietnamese rolls to beef and noodle soups, rice cakes we cooked ourselves, Vietnamese pancakes and mini pizzas, and creme caramel desserts. We also got to visit the beautiful night time flower markets. Bring your appetite if you do this tour, you're going to need it. If you come to Ho Chi Minh City and don't do this tour, you've wasted your holiday

Great day out comfy van pickup lovely informative guide ‘VU’

We were picked up for our hotel in a lovely aircon van which was just for us. Vu our guide was very informative about the area and Vietnam in general. Our driver got us around safely. We saw how rice paper and wine are made, cruised the Mekong Delta in a Motor boat, by Sampan and kayak. Saw fling fish and the local stilt house. We had a huge dinner of fried fish prawns and the Vietnamese pancakes and spring rolls we made at cooking class. Topped off by free wifi to up load all the photos. It was a great experience

Lovely day trip with Vu and the Delta locals

This was an activity-packed day, with two lengthy bus journeys bookending the tour itself. However, throughout the day Vu (our guide) was energetic, informative and spoke impeccable English. We really enjoyed all of the activities (although were very tired by about halfway through, so perhaps the traditional music could be cut from future tours) and felt we saw many different aspects of the Mekong Delta.

Awesome tour with great guides and amazing food

Our family of 4 (inc. 10 & 14yo boys) had an amazing time on our tour. Our guides (4 uni students) were so much fun. We got to buzz around the crazy city on the back of scooters while our guides chatted and giggles Tools down tiny alleys, through markets and gave us a real insight into living in Saigon city centre. The food was great too, but the guides are what make this tour stand out from the others.
