Top attractions in Hermanus

The tour was really good - we were 12 people and the age was pretty mixed! :) The hostels we slept were amazing ( 2 times directly at the beach ) I had a single room which I just can highly recommend..in a dorm they had to share 2 times with 10 other people but it was the beginning of the festive season. I had the vegetarian option and can absolutely not complain, the food was every day really good!! You can choose every morning what you want for breakfast- eggs, fruit salad.. So for this price it was absolutely worth to do the tour :)

Very well organized tour, we visited beautiful places in a few days, our guide Christine, was fantastic, she has a great personality, always taking care of each member of the tour and every detail. The group size is perfect, you get to meet interesting people form all over the world. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone, is very well suited for families, groups of friends, couples, etc. You get to choose the activities that you want to do, so it's very flexible.

The introduction talk from the Marine Biologist was very interesting around people’s perception of sharks. Although I did not get to see a Great White the Coppertone and Whaler sharks were extraordinary. I also got the added bonus of extra time in the water, I think I had nearly an hour . I recommended this activity to another couple who we met last night in the same hotel and they booked for Sunday 21st April. Thanks for a great day!!

Had a great time doing this tour: Everything was well organized, the guides were knowledgeable, beautiful drive down to Hermanus, the whales were amazing to watch! Two recommendations: 1) Book through the local partner directly as it's about 20 pounds cheaper than booking through this website. 2) Book the whale watching boat tour as a combo package with your trip to Hermanus as it will save you some money too.

We had great guide/driver who knew a lot and has a great sense of humor. The day was beautiful as well as the surroundings. Only downside was, that there was little time to enjoy the view when stopping & getting out to see the view (for pictures). Quickly taking pics and getting back in the bus seemed to be the goal. This instead of enjoying the great surroundings. But all in all, a great day!
