Full description
Following pick-up at your hotel, explore Cuba through the eyes of Ernest Hemingway and visit attractions associated with the author, who lived on and off the island for 20 years.

Start with a visit to the Finca Vigía where Hemingway lived and wrote "The Old Man and the Sea." When receiving the Nobel Prize in 1954, the author declared that the award belonged not to him, but to Cuba. Indeed, he gifted the medal to the island upon collecting it.

Continue to the town of Cojímar, where Hemingway was inspired to write “The Old Man and the Sea.” Take a stroll through the town to see the statue in his honor, made from old anchors, props and tools salvaged by local fishermen. Go to Las Terrazas restaurant to experience the preferred Cojimar hangout of Hemingway and his cohorts. Enjoy a cocktail and lunch (included) before returning to the capital to follow the Hemingway trail through Old Havana.

Take a peek at room 511 in Hotel Ambos Mundos, where Hemingway used to stay in the 1930s. Breathe the atmosphere of days gone by in the restaurant-bars of La Bodeguita del Medio and Floridita, the former famous for its mojitos and the latter for its daiquiris.
