What people are saying about Hanoi
Excellent comunication, seamless organisation and a fantastic guide
Organisation and communication were excellent. Our guide was absolutely fantastic: friendly, experienced, knowledgeable and really took care of members of our group who struggled and needed alternative arrangements to be made. Sapa is beautiful and this trek gives you a great experience of the region. They did an awesome job of avoiding the most touristy routes, so we mostly felt like we had the trails to ourselves. This is totally doable for anyone with a semi-decent level if fitness and a pair of trainers. The homestay even had wifi and hot water! The only thing that needs to be improved is the provision of drinking water: The only option was to buy plastic bottles, sometimes only small ones so we had to buy multiple. This was despite the fact that other drinking water was available (a couple of members of out group were allowed to have this, but only after threatening to complain). Overall a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend
Incredible service, flexible schedule, breathless location
We originally booked the 3-day/2-night cruise but unfortunately, because there was a huge typhoon the first day, the cruise had to cancel. Fortunately, we did make it for a 2-day/1-night cruise which was still perfect. The entire experience was amazing - breathless views, great activities, and really amazing service. However, I think what I want to emphasize in this review is how great the company handled the cancellation. We still wanted to stay around Ha Long City the day of our cruise because we saw no point staying in Ha Noi when we had to do the 2-hour drive anyways. They were accommodating and dropped us right in front of the last-minute AirBNB we booked. Everything was just really awesome. Also, for what it's worth, there are a lot of cruises offering similar, but taking part in the higher starred-rated cruises is worth it - less people, more freedom, and just all around better service.
Great trip for the price. Recommending it if you have one full day.
The trip was excellent. The ride in the river for almost 1.5 hours was amazing. It was really a talent to see most of the women paddling the boat by their feet. It was hot and very humid. Little bit disappointed where our bus driver took 15 minutes break on way back leaving all the passengers without air conditioner running in bus. No one wanted to take a break except the bus driver. Food was great at Long’s restaurant in Tam Coc. Great vegetarian and vegan options too.
Excellent and very well organized trip. We went on September 6.
This trip was very well planned and organized. Our guide ‘Man’ was very nice and helpful. Hotel pick and drop off in old quarter. Food was OK on the boat, nothing out of ordinary. The mini boat rides were well arranged in the Halong bay. It is a MUST See in Vietnam tour. Just amazing. Remember, it will get really hot and humid. There in no air conditioner anywhere except on the use. But still worth it. I highly recommend this tour.
Relaxed, informative and made to feel very welcome
Highly recommend this tour. The guide wss very knowledgeable and obviously very proud, and passionate of his country. The crew were extremely polite and attentive, nothing was to much trouble. The intinery was well planned, giving you time to relax and enjoy your surroundings between stops.
