Climb aboard the boat and discover the many different attractions and sights in the city, depending on the tides and the day's events. Explore the historical Speicherstadt (warehouse district) with its canals, the modern HafenCity, the numerous bridges over the Elbe River, busy locks and container terminals, the Köhlbrand Bridge, and much more.

Along the way you will learn more about the city, its history, the incoming and outgoing ships, and anything else that interests you. Sit back and admire the views of the city on the sun deck or in the air-conditioned lounge with large panoramic windows.

Tour matched ad. Boat has toilets. Guide has accent, understandable.

The staff was friendly and helpful, and the tour was as described in the ads. There were toilets on the boat, which was quite convenient. The English-speaking tour guide was a German man with a German accent, not a native speaker of English. His English was reasonably good. The loudspeaker was a loudspeaker, meaning it had a bit of static or distortion, although it wasn't bad as loudspeakers go. The combination made the narration a bit difficult for some people in our group to understand. I didn't have trouble with it, but I have a lot of experience with German accents. Still, having a tour in English was very nice.

It was misleading what boat one was going to travel on. I wanted to travel on the paddle Steamer and that was the picture which kept appearing as I filled in the Forms online. Otherwise, the captain of the boat was great and the commentary was excellent making a great one hour harbour tour on english.

Excellent river boat cruise in the sunshine

If you're going to Hamburg and the weather is good, I'd recommend that you go on a river boat cruise. You get to see and learn about other parts of Hamburg that you wouldn't necessarily know about or see. The audio guide was in English which is handy if you cannot speak German!
