Delhi: Flavors and Food Stories of New Delhi
- Duration: 4 hours
I booked the trip very last min, just the night before the trip but I am glad I chose the company. Both the guides of Agra and Delhi - Karan and Ankur are very professional and knowledgable. They provided excellent hospitality and service throughout the whole Trips and met our special requests. And most important they didn’t mind taking lots of good pictures for you. Also, I also want to thank the driver, who had been professional during the long hours drive and on time on both days. I think this is the tour that you will not regret to choose. The only drawback I can think of is to install a sun filter on the windows of passenger seats as it was very shiny when back to Delhi.
The tour was excellent Ajay our driver was fantastic. He was kind, funny and helpful making sure we got the most from our trip. Our guide was good sharing historical information with us and taking some great photos. At the end of the tour when our guide left we had some spare time so Ajay even drove us to a local market at our request before we left back for Ireland. He really was fantastic, thanks Ajay! If you are in Delhi I 1000% recommend this tour. You see everything worth seeing and can change the tour to suit yourself and it’s upto you if you go into the monuments or not which is great! Thanks guys! Lots of water, and hand sanitizer in the car too
Rumi (guide) and Mr. Latit (driver) were great! My wife and I were in New Delhi for a wedding and so we really only had one full day for sightseeing and this was a phenomenal use of time. With it being private you can customize to your wants and needs. I had a broken foot with a boot on so Rumi changed the itinerary a bit knowing I couldn’t get into a few places (have to take shoes off). Would definitely recommend if you want to see lots of stuff without spending hours and hours at each site.
On this tour you will really get a sense of what Delhi is about. The itinerary mentioned in GetYourGuide wasn’t quite followed but we got to see so many different monuments and places that in the end we didn’t mind. Vicky our driver was excellent and always made sure that we were enjoying the tour and not missing out. He even added a stop at the place Gandhi lived and was shot which was one of the highlights of the tour.
Truly one of my favourite days spent in all of India even though I thought it would just be a way of being out and about. The guide was such an amazing and kind and thoughtful person. When he found out i'd seen some of the more popular sights on a previous visit, he and the driver devised a whole "off the beaten track" itinerary for me on the fly. They were amazing!
