What people are saying about Gunung Kawi Temple
Arlan was such a great guide and he provided us with so many wonderful pictures and so much information about the culture and history of Bali. He showed so much excitement throughout the day and made us feel so welcome in Bali. He truly made our experience the best possible! He had great recommendations and answered all of our questions eagerly.
Our guide met us at the port when our ship arrived. He was very knowledgeable, personable and had an entire day planned for us in Bali. We packed so much into 9 hours...it was perfect since we only had one day. Our only delta was the several of the places he took us (batik factory, coffee plantation, silver jewelry shop) were obviously arranged stops for sales purposes. We thought the prices in these shops were inflated and would have preferred to shop at local markets or stores, not these larger tourist-centric stores. We thoroughly enjoyed the rice paddies, Monkey Park and the volcano. The tour was a bit long...lots of driving, so one idea would be to eliminate the furthest destination (volcano) and make it a separate tour option. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our tour and would highly recommend it to others.
Our guide Joe took us to a wide variety of places. The monkey forest was a lot of fun, lunch in front of the volcano was awesome, and the rice terraces were breathtaking. Joe was an excellent host and made our tour memorable. Highly recommended.
Our tour guide made sure we saw more than what was on the list. Spent the whole day doing activities and seeing Ubud. The lunch provided was amazing, walked away very full! To be able to do this with out the guide we would have missed out on so much. Perfect for all ages and even great for a family outing!
Margot was an exceptional guide: we saw temples, rice terraces, monkey forests and lunched at buffet overlooking extinct volcano. Margot provided cold water and cool wash cloths which was really appreciated in the hot humidity. Our ship was delayed and our guide, Margot, was still waiting with a big smile! We learned a lot and had fun!
