Vancouver: Grouse Mountain Admission Ticket
- Valid: 1 day
Capilano Bridge, Fish Hatchery & Grouse Mountain are all beautiful! Pine trees, ferns, rushing river, etc. and the guide's recitation of facts and interesting lore was great! The only reasons for 4 stars: 1) Capilano Bridge was "concerning" - if you're a good sailer or love roller coasters you'll do fine, otherwise - YIKES! 2) Fish weren't spawning at the hatchery, so while interesting there wasn't much to see. 3) Grouse mountain was completely overcast when we arrived and raining by the time we left, so other than a pleasant lunch it was pretty dismal. None of those reasons have to do with the tour or the sites themselves - probably very enjoyable if you have nerves of steel & pleasant weather!
This was a great tour. We were picked up at our hotel by Nola. She was awesome and gave us a lot of great information about the area. We joined the rest of the group and set our for our adventure. Leslie was our guide and he was awesome. 24 in our group. We made a few extra stops at sights that were nice to see. Plenty of restrooms where we went. The Capilano suspension bridge was on my bucket list. It was awesome and we went on some other paved hikes - cliff walks and treetops adventure. Really incredible views. Beautiful place. There are a couple shops and restaurants you can visit there too. Grouse mountain was great too. We highly recommend this tour. Appropriate for all ages.
At Capilano Bridge our bus driver guide left us due to being 4 minutes late back to the bus. Unfortunately we got caught behind a large group of students crossing the bridge and it took us a lot longer to get back than anticipated. Fortunately Kevin let us join his tour and went out of his way to be sure we were taken care of. He even ran back to the gate to get our lift tickets for the tram at Grouse Mountain. I would highly recommend requesting him as your guide/driver for your tour.
Excellent trip. Plenty of time is given at both locations which enables you to see all the attractions on offer. Mike our driver and guide was knowledgable and also very funny. Being able to jump the queues at Capilano Suspension bridge was a real benefit as it was very busy with hour long queues. My wife and I had a great time.
Our guide, Rick, gave a really great tour. The Capilano bridge and cliff walk was spectacular. The tram ride up Grouse Mountain was breathtaking. Lots to see and do there too. This was a really good way to see a lot on the time we had.
