What people are saying about Greve in Chianti

Classy, informative, memorable, and more than we expected. Bravissimo.

We went out with a group of six. Our tour guide, Guido was a sommelier and grew up in the region. We tried 11 wines at 3 vineyards as well as olive oils and a balsamic vinegar. Lunch was provided and they even gave me a vegetarian option. Meat, cheese, bruschetta for all as a starter, plus roasted eggplant for me. The main was pasta with ragu sauce for the others, tomato sauce for me. We finished with olive oil cake. The locations were quiet- we had rooms to ourselves in each case, and the views were spectacular. This tour was worth every penny. We highly recommend it!!!

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon noon, in the Tuscan hills ...

Overall, it was a great experience; would have like a bit more time in Greve. The wineries were excellent - as was the wine/food pairings. While the restaurant for dinner was excellent - as far as ambiance and atmosphere, we were slightly disappointed in the meal. For the cost, we expected a more traditional-type Italian style dinner. And, we were quite rushed - which was too bad. Otherwise, we enjoyed the experience.
