Good deal in a structured environment for beginner level snorklers

Semi submersible was good to see many thing that would be hard to see just snorkeling (eg stingray, turtles, large shelves of coral). Food was just plain not appetizing. But you get what you pay for. If you snorkel in the beginner area near the ship, the coral looks bleached and the formations and fish are very deep so it’s harder to appreciate their bright colors. If you can venture out a few meters past the beginner area, the reef is shallower and there are more schools of fish and sea life. Staff were mostly professional and helpful except for one, Maki. I hard difficulty with my swim gear and asked Maki if she had any tips and she snapped at me saying “go find someone else to ask.” Then she turned around and walked away. I don’t expect that type of customer service is tolerated by Quicksilver so I would hope that they have discussions addressing her issues.

Fantastic day and very accommodating staff

Our family of 8 turned up a day early for this trip! The lady at the check in desk and the staff on the boat were extremely helpful and got us on the boat that day. Our 10 year old daughter was supervised by one of the staff (sorry I don't remember her name - MJ or something) and she took so much time to point out all the amazing stuff under the water. Our family from the UK thoroughly enjoyed the trip and this was their first time ever snorkelling. It was also great to see such a wide spectrum of languages that the guides spoke. Diver's Den I believe is a relatively new business. We wish them all the best and congratulate them on a great day out.

Wonderful opportunity to snorkel close to the coral reef

Great experience - terrific environment-skilled and helpful instructors -great food -great catamaran. Smaller groups are better. Tried a large company to snorkel the outer reef. So much deeper therefore less to see when snorkelling. Totally impersonal. Low isles is a great experience with Sailaway who take very good care of you. Thanks To Blake and Augustine we had a terrific introduction to the Great Barrier Reef.

First time snorkelling! Amazing experience.

Was a great day out! My boyfriend and I loved the snorkelling and had a fun time out in the water and just walking along the beach. Crew were excellent as well! Plenty of food and we got a nice serenade from one of the crew members for the journey back to the marina. Would definitely recommend.

Very well organised day, great service & food. Wonderful snorkeling.

An experience not to be missed and very impressed with the staff, they were very friendly, funny, knowledgeable and helpful. They really made this part of our holiday a highlight. Also happy that the Quicksilver team are helping to reproduce the coral reef.....thank you so much. NZ Kiwi's.
