What people are saying about Granada

Well organised small group tour in comfortable 19 seater van.

Our guide, Catherine, was excellent in all respects and VERY good at providing interesting information. Our guide in the Alahambra, Beatrix, was also excellent and spoke clear English, as did Catherine. There was a problem when entering the Nasrid Palace because some people had bought entry tickets independently of the tour company and this caused a bank-up at of following groups whilst it was sorted out. It was then difficult to keep with your own group going through the absolutely amazing palace. I would suggest tour operator check ticket situation with customers prior to start of the otherwise great tour. Overall this tour is one to definitely not miss !!!!!!! It is the second time I have been to the Alahambra and it was equally pleasing again.

Juan was both informative, very clear and knowledgable.

I would definitely recommend a guided tour of La Alhambra. It was very hot on the day of our tour, however there was not an excessive amount of information or anything too tasking to cope with. Fairly long at 2 ½ hours however enjoyable all the same. Just buying a ticket or listening to an audio tour would potentially miss out on some really interesting facts and the general history of Alhambra, Granada and the surrounding area as Juan was able to respond to questions etc.

A beautiful and historically fascinating experience.

The Alhambra was breathtaking. Our guide (Natasha) was excellent. She provided a very informative and good humoured tour, answering all questions. At several intervals she invited the group to answer questions of her own about the possible use or identify of several objects and artefacts. We were given adequate time to take photographs at various points during the tour. A memorable experience enhanced by first class tour guide.

Alba was great, however the Alhambra is way too crowded!

Albas guidance was nice and informative. However, too many tickets are sold every day for visitors to explore the beautiful Alhambra. That causes a rush through a crowd and there is no time nor space to enjoy the beauty of the place. I recommend to go to the Alhambra EARLY in the morning (7:00 am) and to use an audio guide instead of a guided tour. That gives at least the possibility to visit the monument in your own pace.

Rain did not dampen our appreciation of the Alhambra!

The Alhambra is massive and amazing: Spanish history embodied in one place with its multiple cultures, layers, and restorations thru various architectures and gardens. Against the luxurious beauty of the Muslim art and design is the bold, cold and unique design of Charles V's castle. Our guide, Alda, was excellent! We went back the next day to walk thru the open public areas with her explanations in mind.
