What people are saying about Granada

Thoroughly enriching experience! Excellent guide!

We were 2 couples and all of us felt our guide Francex, a highly educated art historian, did an outstanding job. He delivered fascinating information tailored to our interests in a conversational way. It was in depth without being overwhelming and all questions were welcomed. He set a pace that was relaxed but also ensured that we saw and understood what was most important and most interesting historically and artistically about this very large complex. Don’t wander around lost, wondering what you’re looking at or following someone with 30 other people and so no time for your questions — get your own guide! Totally worth it! Also a great (and the only) way to get last minute tickets.

Granada: Alhambra Tour with Skip-the-Line Entrance Reviewed by Anonymous, 06/29/2019

Glad we made this a priority, this is a must do.

So happy we included Alhambra on our journey. The tour was a bit long, and began with an hour long delay, and felt very long as it was done in two languages, so everything took twice as long. Smaller children would perhaps be very tired/bored and at times it was a lot even as an adult. The wood making shop was a great added bonus. The wine at the gift shop, and a 20 min break wasn’t as great, as the tour is already long. The guide did her best, answered questions, was expressive and informative and was interactive as much as possible. She made several stops just to fill us in on interesting details and for great photos. Definitely a bonus!

Very peaceful and relaxing. Staff were excellent.

The staff were excellent - explained all the procedures well - sometimes in broken English, but that was fine, no more was needed. The baths are exquisitely decorated and it is an absolute pleasure to lie there in contemplation. All the facilities were spotlessly clean and the extras, like moisturisers, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryers and a centrifuge for your swimwear afterwards, were faultless. I would highly recommend, and hope to be able to fit in a session at their baths in Madrid when I visit.

Granada: 1.5-Hour Hammam Session with Massage Reviewed by Michele, 07/22/2019

A beautiful and historically fascinating experience.

The Alhambra was breathtaking. Our guide (Natasha) was excellent. She provided a very informative and good humoured tour, answering all questions. At several intervals she invited the group to answer questions of her own about the possible use or identify of several objects and artefacts. We were given adequate time to take photographs at various points during the tour. A memorable experience enhanced by first class tour guide.

Granada: Alhambra and Generalife Tour Reviewed by Simón, 07/04/2019

Alba was great, however the Alhambra is way too crowded!

Albas guidance was nice and informative. However, too many tickets are sold every day for visitors to explore the beautiful Alhambra. That causes a rush through a crowd and there is no time nor space to enjoy the beauty of the place. I recommend to go to the Alhambra EARLY in the morning (7:00 am) and to use an audio guide instead of a guided tour. That gives at least the possibility to visit the monument in your own pace.
