We were annoyed that the only way to see the Alhambra was to go on a guided tour. So tickets that would have been 14 euros for seniors were nearer fifty, as all direct tickets were sold out. Hmm. My husband was also annoyed that the tour was Spanish and English - we thought we’d booked an English only tour. The moral of this is to book months ahead and not weeks - even at the end of February. We would much have preferred to wander round at our own pace, using an English audio guide.

Excellent tour at a good pace with a friendly and informative local guide. The price of the tour was comparable with others but at around €50 each for 3 hours seemed like quite a lot of money for a group tour (there were 20 people in our group) especially when you can in theory get Alhambra entrance tickets for €14 if you search online early enough (we didn't!).
