What people are saying about Granada
Having visited 25 years ago without managing to get tickets, we were determined to have an in-depth tour this time. Enrique, our guide, has been taking visitors to the Alhambra since 1987. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided great insights and answered all our questions. This was not a cheap tour, but we were happy to have spent the money.
Our guide was extremely knowlegeable and kind; not to mention efficient!!! Not to mention her ability to coordinate a large group! My husband and I had been before but I wanted to give our friends from Canada a special treat and we succeeded thanks to the lovely guide! I will highly recommend this tour!
Our guide gave a very informative talk and was extremely passionate about Alhambra. He knew much more than the audio tour would have explained. We walked from one side to the other as we learned interesting tidbits. There was ample time for pictures and adequate time was spent inside the exhibits. Getting a ticket and doing it yourself may be less expensive, but in this case, I would recommend spending the extra money and going with a small group ( we had 13 people that consisted of three families). The tour is advertised as three hours, be we took 3 hours 45 minutes mainly because the tickets to enter are timed and we had to wait for that time to enter the exhibit. I was with my spouse and adult daughter.
We tried to reserve independent access tickets to the Alhambra but were unsuccessful. So, instead, we booked this guided tour, unsure of what to expect. Well, it was fantastic, thanks to our bilingual English/Spanish tour guide. He was a fountain of information, extremely positive, pleasant and energetic and excellent at managing our group. We NEVER would have gotten even 20% as much information and value out of a self-guided tour. Worth the money if you go all the way to Granada.
Dear All, we really enjoyed this experience and the professionalism, kindness and the deep knowledge of our guide Juan Cobo Civantos. He is the best guide! All this made this tour very pleasant and interesting. We are happy with this experience! All my best
