The tour was good and well organised. Comfortable boat but P.A system was not brilliant so missed a lot of the commentary. The stop to swim was beautiful and everyone took advantage of this , in beautiful clear blue water. Comino was a bit disappointing as over crowded. Deckchairs and an umbrella cost 15 euro. The food vans although convenient were didn't compliment the beautiful location . Gozo trip was good. We visited Xlendi. The beach here was tiny but nice restaurants and you can swim in the sea via small ladders from the waters edge. . All in all a decent day out at a very reasonable price.
The hornblower tour is something different! It's a small boat with room for sunbathing and with a glide to go in the water. The other boats you see are huge boats where they squeeze as many people as possible together... The crew is lovely and friendly! Also the personal touch with our driver on Gozo, Edward, was so nice. It made our day even better. By far the best experience of our holiday!
I would recommend this cruise, but wouldn’t stay at the Blue Lagoon. It was obnoxiously busy with no place to sit. I would just take the trip to Gozo, enjoy a beach there if you actually want to swim. I would just wait until Gozo to eat, since there are so many good options.
My daughter and I had the best time. We got an option to have a tour round Gozo which was a great way to see the Island in the short time we had. We also went around a few sea caves around Gozo. Absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend this trip.
While the trip was generally well out together, the Gozo stop could have been improved. Also the quality of the ground transportation needs to be improved. The old beat up vans are unacceptable.
