Fun Activity but Tour Title is Misleading

So if you book your tour through this site, a few things to know - the "3-hour rental" is not actually a 3-hour rental of the GoCar, it's the "accessibility" of the car from 9am to 12pm. But the office in SF doesn't open until 9am, then you have to fill out waivers and other paperwork, then wait in line, then watch a safety video, then get fitted for helmets, and if you're lucky, you'll be in your GoCar by 10am. The GPS-guided route we took was super fun and informative, and allowed us to see things in SF in a memorable way. Remember to bring an extra sweatshirt as there's typically a marine layer along the coast that can make it pretty chilly in the morning. The route was long, even without stopping, so we didn't get back to the drop off until after 12:00. We would've had to pay extra but the manager waived it for us since we had such a late start (thank you!). I would do this activity again but will probably rent for the day next time so we won't be pressed for time.

San Francisco: 3-Hour Gocar Rental Reviewed by Anonymous, 09/06/2018

Great value and convenient way to see the city

The hop-on hop-off bus is a convenient way to see the entire city without paying a lot of money. I have done this in a number of cities, and I am rarely disappointed. The night tour was really cool, and I highly recommend it. The city is gorgeous at night. I was a little disappointed with the time between buses at each stop. It was about 20 to 30 minutes, and I wish it was only 10 to 15.

Excellent live guides but pricing confusing

The live guides on the buses and Chinatown walk added tremendously to our enjoyment of San Francisco. However the difference between Classic Premium and Deluxe was very confusing. Why not just differentiate between 24 and 48 hours? The Panoramic Tour at night is not worth it unless it is a beautiful evening as otherwise the fog makes it too cold with poor visibility.

Easy to use, busses were clean, would do again!

Amazing service and the best way to see the city. So many stops to fill your day and busses were very regular. I recommend looking at the list of stops before going and not just hitting up the main places, but going to the less popular places too 10/10 go to the tea gardens and the palace of fine arts Would do this again for sure

dissappointrd that there was not live guide

Although the idea sounded great, having only recordings & no live guide was disappointing, I feel that feature was EXTREMELY MISTEPRESENTED In all the ads and write ups. As a result felt overpriced for what was actually received, ended up getting off his half way through and not Get back on,
