A Unique experience with exceptional guidance from Volunteer John!!!

I, my daughter and her boyfriend, were visiting the Atlanta Aquarium on Sunday July 7th. Volunteer "JOHN" befriended us and offered to give us some behind-the-scene views. He took us to see the Whale Sharks and Rays being fed (as well as other animals in the main tank); the coral reef tank from the top, explaining the many filtration systems and oxygenating "waterfall"; and the Beluga whales who were interacting with their trainers and care-givers. Not only were we fortunate to be able to see all this, but we were also privileged to learn from John's vast knowledge of this aquarium and its inhabitants. He really made our visit to this already outstanding aquarium a truly unique and incredible experience. Thank you John for showing us your aquarium!

Loved the exhibits, but it was terribly overcrowded!!

There were so many people at the aquarium on July 5th that there was actually a non-moving bottleneck trying to exit the tropical exhibit. The dense crowd in the central area prohibited movement out of the exhibit. We even did the early bird option. Hate to think if there had been a fire or other emergency. I realize this was a holiday weekend, but you need to do a much better job of limiting the number of tickets you sell per day. I overheard many people complaining about this. This is a strong enough negative that I will tell others to be aware before the they decide to visit.

Early bird tickets saved me money and hours of wait time.

The aquarium was absolutely beautiful and worth our money. I saved 20% on our tickets with the early bird tickets, and I’m glad I bought these, not just for the money, but the WAIT. There was a line that justice been 2 hours long, and with the tickets we purchased, we were able to skip the line and drop right into security and were processed within 5-10 minutes. Booking was easy, and we enjoyed several hours at the aquarium. Be sure to pack some money for snacks and the gift shop! The food can get very expensive.

Had a great time the experience was amazing

Purchased the tickets online was quite convenient and enjoyed the show. The aquarium is amazing. It has a lot of selection the facility was clean. I just truly enjoyed the experience and will continue to recommend the aquarium and the convenience of paying using the app to plenty of family and friends

It was too crowded. Unable to view many venues.

Some experiences too expensive. It took 15 to 20 minutes to be able to get to some of the tanks to view as the lines were five deep and no one to move people along.
