Full description
On this 2.5-hour street food tour, explore the historic center of Genoa with fellow foodies and a local guide. You will start the tour from the Old Port, and go into the historical center walking through the caruggi, typical alleys of Genoa. Reach the Cathedral of Saint Lawrence in Piazza Lorenzo and marvel at its unique black and white striped facade! Continue to Piazza De Ferrari, the most beautiful square of the city with its majestic fountain in the middle. The next stops will be Piazza Corvetto and Piazza Campetto, two elegant squares of Genoa.

Between stops on your tour you will do various tastings of local food, such as: focaccia, typical flatbread flavoured with olive oil, olives or onions; some freshly made basil pesto on a piece of flatbread; a paper cone with fried seafood; some local cookies called canestrelli, "little baskets"; and finally, some delicious gelato.
