Vivid storytelling brings old Vancouver alive

Super cool, in-character storyteller provides tour around old town Gastown, Vancouver. Our storyteller we friendly, funny, and flexible when plans needed to be adjusted. The only heads up is that the tour starts up the hill at Cathedral Square, but ends down the hill on Water Street (about 4 blocks away). If you are going to drive and park, park near the main drag of Gastown to avoid a nightime uphill walk through some sketchy neighborhoods.

Vancouver: Lost Souls of Gastown Tour Reviewed by

Need more time at Granville Island. Guide was excellent.

Mixup regarding pickup, started tour on a sour note. Drove to hotel Best Western in Burnaby and was told we could not park there. Had to drive to a shopping center. However once we were on the tour bus, things improved and rest of tour was enjoyed by all in our party of 8. It would have been nice to have more time on Granville Island. We found the tour guide very entertaining and very knowledgable.

A thrilling and unique day out in and among the trees

Excellent trip with enough walks to keep everyone amused and the number of people in the park moving. Takes some people a bit of bottle to make the initial crossing but once that is done there is a sense of achievement. Excellent. Only quibble is the high cost of drinks etc once in the park - you are beholden to a monopoly and have a juice and it isn'/t just the orange that gets squeezed.

A great tour. It was wonderful to be able to see so much!

The tour was great. The pick up at the hotel was on time and the tour itself was excellent. It would have been nice to have had more time at the market, but the time at the Totum Poles and at the Capilano bridge and rain forest was perfect. It was a great option for a very wet day. Our guide Dave was very knowledgeable and courteous.

Sightseeing at Capilano Suspension Bridge was breath-taking.

My wife and I enjoyed visiting and sightseeing the city of Vancouver, BC, the Stanley Park, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Granville Island, the Lions Gate Bridge, Gastown, Chinatown, North Vancouver, BC, and Richmond Canada. We would like to return someday so we can further explore some of the sights that we saw.
