Wineglass Bay Cruise with Lunch from Coles Bay Reviewed by

Relaxing way to see a beautiful part of the state.

From pick up to drop off, our guide Steven was considerate of the needs of his group. The trip was educational, relaxed and a wonderful opportunity to see this part of the coast without the stress of working out an itinerary on my own. History, flora and fauna were all covered and advice on how the day would unfold was provided from the beginning. The website gave an outline of what to bring so no hidden surprises and I set off feeling prepared for a great day out and about.

Awesome day in Tasmania, a great host and lots of fun things to do!

This one day trip is perfect for those who want to get a glimpse of beautiful Tasmania. Gino, our guide, was very upbeat and willing to show us around - we got to feed Pademelons (which my 7 year old daughter loved), we walked through beautiful white sand beaches, hiked up to see the Wineglass Bay (a little steep, but worth it), went to the Honeymoon Bay. We saw a few Wallabees in several parking lots, which was fun for the kids. We opted for lunch at a seafood farm and what a great choice it was! We had fresh oysters, mussels, scallops and grilled salmon. If you enjoy seafood, this is the right way to go! I highly recommend this tour, totally worth it!

Amazing views with a knowledgeable local guide!

The driver and host, Gino, picked us up at our hotel at the appointed time. His van was clean and comfortable. He gave a very interesting commentary about the history of Tasmania, Freycinet, Wineglass Bay, the Tasmanian Devil and other indigenous animals during the ride to Wineglass Bay. Gino allowed for plenty of comfort and snack stops throughout the day. He customized the tour to the diverse wishes of the group (long walk vs. short walk). At the point overlooking Wineglass Bay, a wallaby hopped up and allowed us to take numerous photos. We selected the long walk and spent almost an hour on the beach at Wineglass Bay, which is wide with sugar sand, crystal-clear water and very few people - stunningly beautiful! The hike up the mountain is strenuous, so be sure to take water and breaks as needed. We highly recommend this tour. Gino’s attention to detail and the natural beauty of Wineglass Bay made this tour a highlight of our trip to Tasmania!

An enjoyable and memorable trip. Highly recommended.

My father and I have enjoyed the trip especially the beautiful scenery on the way to the Wine Glass Bay, the Sleeping Bay, Honeymoon Bay, Coral Bay etc. My father who is about 80 years old is very much impressed by the tour guide, Jack who is friendly and take good care of him. We are a small group of seven people. As my dad could not climb up the steps to the lookout for the Wine Glass Bay with the rest of us, Jack was very kind to bring him to a nice resort with beautiful scenery of the sea and the mountains. I am sure the rest of our group have enjoyed the trip. Thank You to our wonderful tour guide.
