Zurich in a Nutshell: Guided Sightseeing Walk
- Small group
- Duration: 2 hours
per group up to 15
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Zürich and answered any question I threw at him. Very impressive, including the fact he was fluent in five languages. This tour is best taken on a first day to the city to help orient yourself and decide where you want to lend more time on any subsequent days. I can’t speak to the quality of the very end of the tour, as the weather was to inclement to ascend up the cable car. We headed to a store to purchase chocolate instead, which was the only part I’d have changed...if I could change the weather.
I was there with my wife and my 20 months old son. We enjoyed the trip to the fullest. The van was comfortable and with all the safety precautions in the corona situation. Mr. Andy is a good guide with a good skills in English as well as German. Getting to know the history of the city and the country was very interesting for us. A comfortable car seat was made available in the van. The view from the alps was so ecstatic. I recommend this trip.
Having never been to Zürich before, this was the perfect tour to get the lay of the land so to speak. Our guide, Anje, told us where we should explore on our own. That is exactly what we did based on her suggestions. She suggested a restaurant, Zeughauskeller, and was that place ever so good. Suggest making reservations.
This is an excellent tour! I highly recommend it. It is full of activities and information (in 4 hours) and its such great value. The tour is well organized and the guide keeps things moving along to ensure we see everything (but I did not feel the tour was rushed at all.) Was easy to find the tour bus.
We had such a great driver. Even though it was raining we were comfortable and could see all the sights. Highly recommend. We stayed in old town so we had a good lay of the land, but it was so nice to hear the history about the area. We also went out of old town near the university
