The tour guide (and driver) picked us up at the hotel on time, we were provided the pick-up time the day before via email. It was only 3 of us on the tour, so the guide took us to and through the park on a car instead of van or bus. The entrance to the park was included in the package The brazilian side of the waterfalls are considerably smaller than the argentinian side, and because we had no queues on the day of our visit we were done with our tour in 2 hours. The guide offered the boat tour and a lunch break, but we chose to go to the bird park instead. The brazilian side is smaller but offers a different experience - I'd recommend visiting both sides, the views are beautiful at the brazilian side and you get up close to the devil's throat on the argentinian side. The guide was very knowledgeable, giving us the history of the waterfalls and spoke perfect english. I'd recommend this tour and MMC.
I began with a simple bird park tour and entrance to the park. Traveling all the way from Los Angeles was well worth it to see this wonder of the world. My tour guide, Rhian, was more than welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. If you are looking to do helicopter or boat ride, and not brazilian, get this first and your tour guide can get you better rates. I paid about ~$80 USD for heli and ~$50 for the boat. You will not regret the experience.
We really enjoyed our tour to Iguaçu Falls Brazilian side from our hotel on the Argentina side. Our guide was a very pleasant young man keen to give us all the information about Iguazú Falls. He got us through the border crossing very efficiently. Punctuality was a slight problem and was a factor of delays at the border which was understandable as it is very difficult to predict delays at the border but our guide kept us informed.
We toured the Argentinian falls the prior day and were not sure what to expect for the Brazilian side. All I can say is we were absolutely amazed at the views from the Brazilian side and suggest this tour not be missed. We also took the tour of the Parque des Aves. At the end we decided to take the helicopter flight over the falls - this was absolutely incredible and highly recommended!
It was a great trip. my guide, Sandro, made it special to me. He speaks perfect English and he gave me a clear agenda about the tour. He has very good connection with everyone, we didn't need to queue in the line or elevator, I feel like an VIP. He is very knowledgeable about the birds, trees and other animals. I had a lot of fun with his guide. I really enjoy the trip.
