Full description
Make your own way to the meeting point in central Florence and meet your skilled official guide. The guide will introduce you to the activities on the booklet and will tell the kids fascinating stories and anecdotes about the Renaissance times in Florence, while enjoying an amazing walking tour in the very heart of the city.

Exciting games and a funny treasure hunt will amuse all the family during this thrilling time travel across Renaissance's secrets. All the family will enjoy an inspiring walk among Florence’s best sights, coming across world-renowned characters like the genius Leonardo da Vinci. You will also learn about other famous historical celebrities including the poet and writer Dante Alighieri, the eclectic artist Michelangelo and the powerful Medici’s Family leader.

You will then visit the museum of Leonardo da Vinci, and “live” in the incredible world of one of the greatest artists of all time, admiring his amazing creations. Visit the famous Basilica of Santa Croce where many historical figures are buried, including Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Foscolo and many others as Dante himself and listen to amazing stories regarding these historical characters.

You can also see the palace where Leonardo's father worked as a notary, and where his son began to paint the Mona Lisa. Then head onto the spectacular setting of the Uffizi, and see the stunning statues on the square, listening to the fascinating history of the Vasari Corridor.

Continue living and breathing history while strolling the same streets and piazzas walked by the greatest artists from yesteryear, including Botticelli and Raphael. Then gaze at the Brunelleschi  Dome and the imposed multi-colored marble cathedral in Piazza del Duomo. Afterwards, visit Porcellino Market with its leather goods, and cast your eyes upon the bronze animal statues there, including the famous boar.  

During your walk, you'll also appreciate the stunning view from Ponte Vecchio Bridge and marvel at Giotto Bell Tower.  Then you'll have free time to enjoy Florence on your own after the tour ends, with some insider advice from your guide.
