Full description
Spend a day exploring the Blue Pearl of Morocco. The city of Chefchaouen earned this nickname because of the numerous blue-washed streets, houses and buildings. You’ll have the opportunity to stop a few times along the journey to Chechaouen to enjoy the beautiful landscapes, breathe in the cool mountain air, and take some photographs. Your route will pass by Dam Achahad and through the scenic Rif Mountains.

Once you near Chefchaouen, your guide will stop at a viewpoint or two to allow you to capture photos of the city and admire the view. You’ll also get to visit the small waterfalls at the source of the Ras El-Maa River just outside the city before you explore the city itself.

In Chefchaouen, you’ll have 4 hours to explore as you wish. Wander the blue streets, visit the Kasbah or the Grand Mosque, shop in the market, and enjoy a traditional Chefchaouen tagine. At the end of your time in Chefchaouen, you’ll meet your driver for the trip back to Fez where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or riad (house).
