Full description
Fes, which dates back to the 12th century, is the oldest city in Morocco. At 9:30 AM, you will be picked up from your hotel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. The first part of your Fes tour will be outside the Medina and will include the cultural aspects of the tour. It includes a visit to the Royal Palace Gate, the oldest and largest palace gates of the 14th-century king. Stop to capture memorable photos at the Jewish Quarter, built in 1438 and located near Royal residencies. Visit Ibn Danan Synagogue, one of the oldest and most important synagogues in North Africa, which was built in the 17th century. Then discover a ceramic school, known for its handmade pottery. Here, you will have the chance to discover amazing products and see local artisans.

Between 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM, enjoy a break to relax and have lunch at a traditional local restaurant. The second part of the trip will include a historical guided tour. From 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, wander down the narrow alleys until reaching Madersa Bou Inania, established by Abu Inan Fais in AD 1351–56. It's widely acknowledged as a significant example of Marinid architecture. After visit Tannery or Chowara, the oldest and the biggest tannery in Africa. Discover Nejjarine, the museum of wooden crafts. Here, everything is beautifully presented and varies from musical instruments, Berber locks, and prayer beads to the huge courtyard in the middle of the museum.

Explore Kairouine University, one of the leading spiritual and educational centers of the Muslim world. In addition, it is considered the oldest continuously operating institution of higher learning in the world. You will also visit Attarine Madrassa, known for its Arabic calligraphy in the entrance, and the beautiful fountain in the courtyard. Discover the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, a zaouia shrine, and the Mausoleum or Zaouia Sidi Ahmed Tijani. Finally, finish your cultural tour by visiting the local handicraft places. Between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM, you will be dropped back to your hotel in Fes.
