Visit the majestic Hassan II Mosque, the world's second largest mosque. It rises above the ocean on an outcrop northwest of the Medina, a vast building that holds 25,000 worshipers and a further 80,000 in the squares around. If you wish to see the interior you must take a guided tour. Next, visit the Corniche, which was developed in the 20s. It is home to beaches, swimming pools, cafes and other entertainment venues. After, discover the Place Tour of the United Nations, together with arches of golden stones, housed in the heart of the White City. It is a huge garden that shows 70 years of chic architecture. You will also explore the Medina on foot including the central market. See the wall of the Medina, a fortified 18th-century bastion, through the labyrinth of narrow streets lined with jewelers, barbers and artisans.
After that, go to a bar at Hyatt Regency, famous from a film starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Then, discover the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, a massive white church that gracefully blends European style and traditional Moroccan influences. The cathedral was designed by Paul Tornon in 1930 and it has been used as a school, theater and cultural center. Casablanca is becoming famous for fashion and shopping and is host to one of the biggest malls in Africa. During the tour, visit Morocco Mall, a temple of shopping and leisure.
Visit the Museum of Moroccan Judaism which opened its doors for the first time in 1977. This museum offers a historical and ethnographic opening on Moroccan Jewish community, with more than 1,500 historical artifacts including documents, traditional clothing, ceremonial items and a vast collection of photographs. At the end of your tour, return to your hotel in Fez.
