What people are saying about Española Way
We do culinary/architectural tours in most major cities that we visit for the first time because we love local culture and food! Mirka did NOT disappoint! As we strolled down the fabulous Washington, Collins, and Ocean Streets of Miami Beach...we were introduced to several types of cuisine (all extremely interesting and flavorful), aquainted with the history of art deco architecture (facinating!) and all by a knowledgeable, personality plus, "cute as a button", Argentinian guide named Mirka...a Miami native, whose love and special perspective for the city was evident. Every minute was entertaining, every minute was educational, every minute was enjoyable...we will do it again next time we visit Miami.
We got to South Beach, checked in to our hotel, and immediately started the food tour. We went to 6 restaurants for portions ranging from very small to way too much to eat. Cuisines ranged from Columbian to Cuban, to European (French), and Italian. Wonderful way to start a vacation in South Beach!!
Fun tour with excellent guide and interesting people. Food was great and info about the area was very interesting. Tour was relaxed, but we got to see a lot of the area. Highly recommended. But don’t ask for a ride back to your hotel!
My daughter and I took the tour. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed it. The food was great, the information was even more than I hoped for. Our guide was the absolute best. We plan to take more tours the next time we are in Miami.
We enjoyed eating lovely food at locally owned restaurants that we never would have found on our own. Faruk is a wealth of information on the food, buildings, and social justice history in this interesting town. Highly recommended!
