Experienced and welcoming guides treated us as honored guests!

We were amazed at the depth of knowledge of our guides and they were so interested in getting to know us, too! We will definitely call Ammon Express for our next tour in Greece. Nafphlio's Palamidi (Venetian castle overlooking the town and aquamarine water) was the prettiest place I have ever been. We had fun walking through town, having lunch together and a beautiful boat ride to the island Bourtzi Castle and to see the unique Panagitsa church hanging on the cliff. The guides amazed us again with a tour of the Ancient Theatre of Epidaurus, which was another beautiful place in the country. We had a peaceful ride back along the coast of Greece where we returned back across the Corinth canal. Greatest tour ever!!

Long day but worth it for the views and the archaeological sites

The trip was well organised with the tour van arriving on time. Our driver was keen to give us information about living in Athens which was interesting. The various sights are definitely worth seeing and we met our guide for each at the various locations. The meet & greet was well organised and I never felt I was being abandoned at any point. We were shown all the important areas and artifacts in the the museums which was good. My only criticism would be that we had a very long lunch break in Nafplio which seemed longer than necessary. Overall however I would recommend the tour if you want a small group experience and want to see these archaeological sites.

Very good and interesting trip, definitely worth to go

We liked our guide very much. The bus was good. We were picked up from the hotel, taken to the bus terminal of Keytours and there we needed to change the bus, but it was easy. During the day we saw Corinth canal, Epidauros, Mycenae and a lot more. Very interesting. We weren't happy with the lunch. We haven't booked it advance because we saw the other reviews saying that there are other places, but there weren't. So we went to the same restaurant with the group and ate a la carte. The food was very average, but looked a lot better than the others who had booked the lunch in advantage. Summa summarum: definitely worth to go!

Advisable Historial sites to enjoy if travelling to Athens

Interesting places to visit. The activity will not disappoint you at all. Regarding the organization and local agency: quality of the service was ok, with an experted guide who completed the experience with many historical data. serious and puntual. To improve: enlarge the visit of the historical sites (about half an hour). You spend many time at the bus to arrive and then the visit is a bit quick to enjoy the places easily

Disappointing with how much time was spent in a gift-shop.

Good historical value if you're into history. Mildly underwhelming if you don't know much about ancient Greek history. The tour itinerary was disappointing as you only have 45 min to explore an entire archaeological site; however, the material was fascinating and the sites were mysterious and enjoyable. Wouldn't recommend to an average traveller-historian, Delphi tenfold superior if you're considering an excursion.
