Delicious food in a dynamic group environment

The tour departed promptly at 1pm from Traveler’s Bar. Make sure you aren’t late (but if you are, the bartender can give directions)! Our group had just over 20 people. We moved to the market together. I wish we had spent a bit more time exploring the market; it was a quick in-and-out shopping trip without much explanation/time for pictures. I would love to know how to pick the best seafood ingredients. Once we got to the kitchen we separated into 3 tables which made the group feel smaller. They served us Sangria and tapas while they prepped the kitchen for the cooking class. Although we were a large group, everyone had an opportunity to prep or cook and it was easy to view the cooking even when you weren’t actively participating. While waiting for the paella to cook, they taught us how to prepare Sangria and we had time to chat with the other guests. The food was delicious and the company was charming. Highly recommend this experience!!!

Excellent tour – Ross, our guide, was fantastic!

This was our second visit to Barcelona (first time for our teen kids - 15 and 17) and this tour was a great introduction for them. We wove throughout the wonderful warren of the El Born neighborhood with lots of fun stops along the route. Our Irish guide, Ross, was animated but not goofy, and shared the stories with a wonderful enthusiasm for Barcelona's history. All four of us enjoyed the tour immensely and the kids said it one of the highlights of the trip. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Such a fun night just what you want on holiday.

We had a fab night. I’ve done a good tour before and the guide is as important as the food and the venues. None disappointed. Edu our guide was easy to understand and shared his love of Barcelona and it’s history with us. By the end of the evening we had met many of the other guests and enjoyed learning about their lives. Perfect holiday night out.

Fun way to see Barcelona, would highly recommend

We were a group of 15 on a family holiday. Eva and Marco were fantastic guides going out of there way to accommodate such a large group. They made the experience fun and informative. We learnt and saw a lot of the city. I would highly recommend them for ease of use of website to email communication. Give it a go you really won’t be disappointed

Terrific peek into the Inquisition and more...

Alexandra was a wonderfully engaging tour guide, and she kept things rolling from the get-go. I was particularly interested as a Jew, in more about the Inquisition, and Ali did not let me down. I was unfamiliar with some things I learned, and so glad to know more about this dark period in Spain's - and the world's - history.
