What people are saying about Eilat
Very strong experience, the guide in Jerusalem loved his job and he loved to speak, we get an overview about the country, I learned the problems and a lot of information about Israel and Jerusalem. But we rushed and we had no meal until Betlehem in the evening, so you should take your own lunch. Also count with a different weather in Jerusalem, there was 10 degrees less than in Eilat!
We went on that tour on sunday and it was all in all a great tour. The only problem was the optional tour to Behlehem. We booked it for 100 Shekels and when we arrived at Bethlehem we had to stay at a shop for around 45 minutes. No one wanted to buy something but we had to wait there - that was really annoying. After that we went to the church and had not enough time to see the birthplace because we had to be back in Jerusalem at 5:45 pm to reach our bus back to Eilat (both were in the same company). There were 7 people that had to be back at Jerusalem and the rest wanted to stay. After some time we managed to see the place faster than we thought and came back almost on time. The company definitely has to plan better if they recommend an optional tour during another tour. The shop is definitely not necessary!!! Especially for such a long time! But all in all it was an interesting and great tour! Our guide Sam in Bethlehem did all he could do to help us with this problem! Thanks again!
The tour itself was really good and everything ran smoothly. Even Bethlehem part, which most of others dislike, were great! The only 'black' spot of the day - the tour guide in Jerusalem. If you will have a guide named Robert, better do the tour by yourself because such a rude, unprofessional tour guide I have not met so far.
