What people are saying about Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm
The guide Zul is very professional and honest person. He brought us to many places in Cameron Highlands. Boh tea plantation, Butterfly park, Strawberry farm, local lunch place and the water fall. We have enough time to enjoy those each places even though the drive from KL to Cameron Highlands took 4 hours / one way. I think we can't achieve such a tour plan without the guide like him. Only one possible improvement might be that I could get earlier departure notice because we had to leave the hotel for Cameron Highland at 6:15am though it was originally planned at 7:00am I got this notification last night. But this is a subtle thing and I definitely recommend this tour with Zul. Thank you.
It is a good trip, well organized. No complaints on the tour operator, the guide was excellent, the bus driver was great too, i salute him for his driving skills, the toad was dangerous. However, I would say i wasn't impressed with the whole Cameron Highlands, nothing special about it. I expected extraordinary nature, but instead got a butterfly farm (where most butterflies were dead), and a bee farm (which i was afraid to go to), a strawberry farm (where we weren't allowed to go in). I would say the nicest place was the tea plantation, but after Sri Lanka and Vietnam it is nothing really. I ticked it off my list but i wouldn't say its a great place to visit.
This is a great tour and a wonderful way to escape the bustle of Kuala Lumpur. Our guide, Shashi, was knowledgeable and helpful as he explained what we were doing every step of the way. He even gave us advice on other things to do in KL and our future destinations: Borneo and Singapore. The tea plantation was definitely one of the tour highlights--rolling hills and even a short factory tour! We also loved the butterfly and botanical gardens. Such beautiful plants. OMG. The only downside to the tour was the long van ride (3.5 hours each way), but even this was made bearable by the fact that we could recline and sleep during the ride. Would highly recommend!!
Trip was a long one (4 hours there and 4 hours back) 2 hours of it on a very winding road each way. Driver was great with his driving and informative. Tea plantation was great, and lunch at the golf course was a nice surprise. Didn't think much of the butterflies, strawberry farm and rose garden as I have seen much better.
Fun packed day with a very knowledgeable guide. Waterfall stop was beautiful, lovely refreshments at strawberry farm and breath taking views at BOH tea plantation. Nice lunch overlooking golf course fascinating watching Cameron Highlands ‘Micheal Jackson’s’ blow pipe demonstration!
