Learn how William Wallace – better known as Braveheart – defeated the English with the help of the bridge. Get wonderful views of the city and Forth River. Take a souvenir photo of the William Wallace Monument, and then stop at Stirling Castle to explore the former residence of the Scottish royals up to the early 17th century.

Move on to the town of Luss for lunch before an optional boat cruise across Loch Lomond. Stroll the charming streets or enjoy a picnic by the lake, if you prefer. Next, visit the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow before the drive back to Edinburgh.
